Mackenzie brought home the school pet, his name was George and I'm not sure if you can see her jammies but they are monkey jammies. She carried him everywhere and slept with him every night. Even the one night she came upstairs and got in my bed, there was George with her! Unfortunately we didn't take George anywhere fun because of the bitter cold, but we're hoping we get a 2nd turn with him since her class is so small. The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck
