Meet Brownie!

At Katelyn's school they have a new class pet, his name is Brownie the bear. Each kid takes a turn by taking him home, along with him comes a notebook where you fill out all the fun and exciting things Brownie did with you and your family. You also get to include photos of the things you did. It's to teach the kids how to take care of a pet. Katleyn should've informed her teachers she has a dog, 2 cats and a fish. And 2 sparrows that hang out in our awning every night over our backsteps. And thank goodness Buddy our dog did not tear Brownie the bear to shreds!!! That would've been devastating to not only her teachers but to Katelyn as well!!! So this is Brownie the bear, she was extremely excited it was her turn!!! Katelyn did take him with her everywhere! She didn't forget him at all! She even took a picture of him sitting on our toilet!!!! I decided to leave that picture out of the school notebook!!! So once we heard it was our turn to be hostesses to Brownie we decided to take him somewhere fun. The other kids really didn't do anything extraordinary, so we decided we'd go to Jungle Java with Brownie and take him on all the slides! Brownie returned to school Wed. so another kid could have their turn. Katelyn did exceptionally well taking him back to school. I thought for sure we'd have tears, but it was explained to her somebody else needed a turn and maybe another time Brownie would come stay with us again. It was the simplest project for her school to do, but so far it was the biggest one to Katelyn!
